We booked a single room, it was cool. Enjoyed garden view. The staff was amiable and accommodating when needed. Location: the hotel was really close to LLeida and Tarragona/Barcelona and centre of village.

Wonderful location for touring around a very picturesque area. In the centre of one of the wine denominations.
Hotel supposedly renowned for excellent restaurant, but we were a little disappointed.

The staff were pleasant. The history of the hotel was interesting. The decor of the public rooms was spectacular. The gardens were pleasant and relaxing.
Fire doors were wedged open and not on the magnetic release system. The road noise. Beds were uncomfortable. Meal on the last night seemed to be reheated.

The morning buffet was superb, and the rooms where clean and nice
During my 2 nights stay (june 23-24), there where festivities in front of the hotel with loud music. Everybody on the street had fireworks which where fired off the whole night. Luckily I had a room with a balcony, which is on the back, so I could sleep a little bit, but for people who stayed on the front side ...

We stayed at Hostal Del Senglar for our vacation and it was in the perfect location. The friendly owner made communication easy and there was a convenient bar restaurant on-site. The rooms were beautifully decorated with spacious and clean bathrooms. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also had ample parking and a lovely outdoor space. a great experience!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The best aspects were its location in the centre of the village, perfect for exploring this city. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and it had ample parking which was a huge convenience. The breakfast was really good, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful throughout my stay.
Nothing.

the decor was nice and old worldy style.
the atmosphere of the place and the staff felt a bit depressive, and the price of the evening meal was expensive for what it was.

This is by far the most "real" hotel we have stayed in the last years! No fancy stuff at all! Adequate large room, complete bathroom and excellent breakfast included in the already low price. An original Spanish (simple, 3 course, including wine) dinner can be had, and is far more worth than its very fair price. This hotel is very well situated for an early visit to the Poblet Monastry. Parking is easy, but not guarded.
